Below are some of the key projects we have undertaken in recent years, showcasing our expertise and the impact of our work.

MCDONALD'S SOUTH AFRICA

We have played a crucial role in identifying and acquiring properties for McDonald’s quick-service restaurants in KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape. Our successful partnership has established us as a core member of McDonald’s South Africa’s team, consistently delivering strategic site identification and development services.

AIRPORTS COMPANY SOUTH AFRICA (ACSA)

As part of an Aviation Framework Project with MPAMOT, we conducted an extensive assessment of ACSA’s commercial property portfolio. Our work provided valuable insights that are instrumental in the ongoing strategic planning and development of ACSA’s assets.

THE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (HDA)

We have been instrumental in preparing multiple sites for the provision of Gap Housing across South Africa. Our services included site assessments, the preparation of site development plans, and obtaining planning approvals for rezonings and subdivisions, ensuring that these projects meet regulatory standards and community needs.

MUNICIPAL DEMARCATION BOARD (MDB)

Working alongside specialists, we coordinated research and final assessments for the redetermination of ward and municipal boundaries in KwaZulu-Natal. Our contributions were integral to the successful completion of this project, which involved complex stakeholder engagement and detailed spatial analysis.

ETHEKWINI MUNICIPALITY

For the Traditional Council Strategic Spatial Plan, we provided critical social and economic development inputs. Our approach went beyond traditional spatial planning, incorporating meaningful engagement with Traditional Councils to ensure that the plan reflects the unique needs and aspirations of these communities.

UMHLATUZE MUNICIPALITY

We conducted a socio-economic feasibility assessment for the establishment of a truck staging area in Richards Bay. Our report addressed the current congestion challenges caused by road transport of coal for export, providing actionable recommendations for improving efficiency and sustainability in the region.

DUBE TRADEPORT (DTP)

As part of the Dube Tradeport Strategic Environmental Assessment, we undertook a comprehensive socio-economic assessment. Our analysis provided the foundation for sustainable development strategies that align with the region’s economic goals and environmental priorities.

ILLOVO SUGAR SOUTH AFRICA

We assessed the Glendale Valley area to plan utilisation of existing facilities and infrastructure. Our work supported Illovo Sugar’s long-term strategic planning, ensuring that their assets are leveraged effectively for continued growth and sustainability.

KZN ECONOMIC COUNCIL (KZNEC)

We assessed the impact of COVID-19 on the KZN Economic Council’s core constituents—labour, government, civil society, and business. Our findings helped shape the Council’s response strategies, ensuring that the economic recovery efforts were inclusive and effective.

WATER RESEARCH COMMISSION (WRC)

Contributing as part of a multidisciplinary team, we assessed the commercial viability of various innovative, enterprise-focused research projects. Our insights helped guide the WRC’s investment in research that has the potential to drive economic growth and sustainability.
